“A winter morning” is the first single from Leifson’s upcoming solo album "Fountain of St. Katarina" and the very first release from the new label Manuzio. The song is a dark and aery short story of rootlessness and loneliness. The main character is in a rented room in a new town, without money and looking for work, mourning over lost love. Leifson's melancholic and vulnerable voice is surrounded by a sparse arrangement with a vibrating el-piano, harmony vocals and a saxophone.

Born on a night when creatures dimmed the light and wolves roamed outside the door. Words of him spread, turned rumors into tales and always added more.

Later in life when doctors asked him; Why did it make you feel that way? , he would stare at his hands as his thoughts would take him down to the bus stop on that day.

Now I can’t feel nothing anymore. No, I can't feel nothing anymore, now I can’t feel nothing.

Another rented room the size of a small tomb where people come to die, with no one around
but still he heard the sound of letters written as goodbyes.

Just another town; God, please say it’s the last one, looking for work again, he turned off the lamp as the days became nights, and the Winter mornings talked of Spring.

Now I can’t feel “nothing” anymore. No, I can't feel nothing anymore, now I can’t feel nothing.
